Hola people, some of you may know that each week we are going to have a meet the team segment on the website, where a player from the first team and second team give us an interview about themselves! I'm aware of numbers this year, and there aren't enough weeks in the academic year to interview everyone, so don't fear, hopefully it'll continue next year. To start off I interviewed our new President Kim Guthrie and our Social Sec Angela McGann.

Both players commit a tremendous amount of time and energy to the club in different capacities. As well as being pivotal players on the pitch. Both Kim and Ang play for Cumbernauld Colts outwith University, both have been vital to the club's league season so far.

Sports ball last year, the two cleaned up rather nicely

My most memorable memory on a football pitch was when I played for Spurs under 16's, we played against West Ham in the Tesco cup where we won 2-1. Was a tough game but I enjoyed it loads. Everyone played great and there was a solid all round effort from all of us. I remember getting hit in the nose in the last 5 minutes which was pure agony and was trying to act tough by not crying but you know when you get hit in the nose and you just automatically cry?

I grew up in London. Yes football was a major part of my childhood, it helped me a lot!

10. What have you taken from your time so far at SULFC?

That everyone is a %!&*£, I'm kidding, hmmm..We aren't like most clubs and I'm not saying that, we legit are different to the rest of the clubs at uni. But I like that. I wouldn't change how we are. Definitely something that I have taken from my near 4 years here is that anything can happen on and off the pitch. Life's a mystery man. We got a good bunch of girls on the team though so whatever happens you can always rely on them even if they are probably just there to rip you to shreds but it's all love
