Stirling Univeristy Ladies Futsal Team SULFT

Stirling Univeristy are proud to have two ladies futsal teams represent them as of 2015. The Scottish womens league started in the second half of 2016 and Stirling submitted two brand new teams. The season ended in success with Stirling winning the new league and finishing 3rd as well. The Stirling 1st team also made it to Britush BUCS Futsal final in England which however resulted in defeat. Nevertheless a successful season for both teams who look onto next season for more success.

Futsal is game modified from football that is mostly played indoors. It consists of two teams which have 5 players on the court at a time. The game lasts 40 minutes, consisting of two 20 minute halves. With different rules than football, futsal can sometimes be difficult to pick up.

At Stirling, we offer the opportunity for girls of all abilities to try out Futsal to play recreationally or competatively.
